Project with compositor-director Dirk Brossé

Can you see the connection between a French singer-songwriter and a classical musician ? People will tell you about this strong connection they have, finding both their inspiration at special places. The eternal flow of new inspiration, that has inspired many at Montmartre in Paris, is still there today. The particular feel of that place has helped creating romantic songs, energetic show programs and nostalgic albums. But the same place has given inspiration to classical compositors jotting down the notes of a grand oeuvre. Notes they would later use to guide their big orchestras across an impressive symphonic concert.

Today, singer-songwriter Jo Lemaire and compositor-director Dirk Brossé are merging the universes of these two worlds in one show : classical music meets melody driven French chanson. What comes out is a brilliant show, Paris s'éveille, uniting Jo Lemaire, Dirk Brossé and his musicians.
